about Vinsi Wineform

The Wineform was prompted by a call from a friend looking for "a stylish, functional, and affordable wine rack” for her new condominium. As a fan of both wine and design, she assumed I’d know of the perfect wine rack to recommend for her new home.

She was wrong.

I looked and looked, but I simply could not find a wine rack that ticked all the boxes. They were either too expensive, looked awful, or simply didn’t work well for storing wine bottles. Honestly, I was shocked. So it got me thinking... and that is how the Vinsi Wineform came to be.

The creation of the Vinsi Wineform has been an 18-month adventure for me. When I started, I had no idea of what it took to bring a product to market; from initial concept drawings, to working with cardboard, foamcore, and 3-D prototypes, and then the ultimate challenge of working with my new friends in the Toronto molding industry to see if this could actually be manufactured!

Suffice to say, it's been a huge learning experience. And now that the Wineform is a patented reality being shipped around the Globe, I can honestly say - I've loved every minute of it.

And one last, very important, thing. Although I am the ‘face’ of the Vinsi Wineform, this was not a solo journey. There are countless friends and family who have provided insight, support, direction, expertise, and encouragement that allowed my kitchen-table sketches to become a reality. It really did take a small village of people, and I am eternally grateful to everyone who helped out.

But the person who I am most grateful for is YOU, our newest Wineform Customer. Your Wineform purchase is validation that people still care about quality and design, and that there is still a place in the world for small, independent manufacturers who share common values.
